The Sachem Athletic Hall of Fame is proud to announce its 2026 induction class, recognizing those whose achievements and contributions have enriched Sachem’s storied athletic tradition.
The induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m. at Sachem High School North.
This year’s ceremony will mark the 11th induction in the history of the Sachem Athletic Hall of Fame, which was established in 2003 to preserve and celebrate the accomplishments of the district’s most distinguished student-athletes, coaches and contributors.
The Class of 2026 is also historic for its representation of Sachem High School East. At least seven members of this year’s class are connected to Sachem East, marking the largest East contingent inducted in a single class since the Hall of Fame’s inception.
“This is an exceptional class that represents the depth, pride and tradition of Sachem athletics,” said Chris R. Vaccaro ’04, president and founder of the Sachem Alumni Association. “Each inductee has made a lasting impact through athletic achievement, leadership or service to the Sachem community. We are especially proud that this class features the largest Sachem East contingent in Hall of Fame history, another important milestone as we continue to preserve and celebrate the complete story of Sachem athletics.”
