Sachem East senior Steven Casali grabbed front page headlines on Sunday morning’s Newsday High School Sports section, a day after East upset top-seeded Connetquot in the Suffolk County Division I semifinals.
Casali led Sachem East with 44 carries, 237 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 33-28 victory.
Sachem East will play William Floyd in the championship on Saturday.
