Sachem North senior Justin Smith will play college lacrosse at New York Institute of Technology, according to Sachem coach Jay Mauro.
Smith is a three-year member of the varsity. He played first line midfield last year as a junior.
“Justin has a great stick and great vision,” Mauro said. “He leads by example in everything we do on and off the field. He has also done a great job working with the younger players in the program. He can also face-off which is great.”
He will be attending NYIT with teammate Jake Slater.
