On Friday, May 9, 2014, Sequoya Middle School will be hosting its annual Career Day. The purpose of the day is to expose our students to a variety of career fields. The hope to encourage and motivate students to continue their education and pursue a profession they are passionate about.
Sequoya iscurrently looking for people working in a wide range of careers to volunteer to speak to students about their profession. Career Day will run from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.. Career Day is run as a Fair and therefore, you will be speaking to small groups of students, not large groups.
Event organizers look forward to bringing the school and community together in a day that will help students gain knowledge about opportunities available to them in the future.
